Access Justice Society
Legal Advice Clinic Charitable non-profit society operates pro bono clinics throughout BC where lawyers provide free legal assistance in all areas of the law to people who cannot afford a lawyer and do not qualify for legal aid. Lawyers do not represent clients in court, but do provide ongoing legal advice and help clients prepare for court.

Legal Services Society
Legal Aid, Legal Advice Clinic, Courthouse Program The Legal Services Society (LSS) is BC's largest provider of legal aid. If you have a legal problem but can't afford a lawyer, LSS may be able to help you. Legal aid services range from legal information and legal advice to legal representation (a lawyer to handle your case). To get a lawyer to represent you, your legal problems must be covered by LSS and you must qualify under financial eligibility guidelines. There is also an eligibility test for legal advice services.
